PRAXIS Praksis is a 3 day long 'morning sharing' where we have invited several dance artists who will hold a space in which they share their ways into dancing; this can be through their daily routine, a choreographic practice, or other approaches into moving that have inspired them.

The classes are 1.5 or 2 hours long starting at 09:30.

Each class is 50kr.

The doors will open 9:15,

meeting at Hausmania's back gate (behind Vega Scene).

We ask you to come in good time, as the space is not easy for late-comers.

DESCRIPTION

At the workshop we will work on a performance practice called How to solo. The practice is based on an idea that the work we do in the studio could transfer into a performance.

We will question how to solo alone, together and how the idea of a collective solowork would be.

BIO

Tone Kittelsen jobber som utøvende danser og koreograf. Hun er utdannet med en bachelorgrad i samtidsdans fra Universitetet i Stavanger og Escola Superior de Danza i Portugal.

Hun jobber i og er en del av det frie feltet hvor hun produserer egne forestillinger og samarbeider med ulike kunstnere på tvers av sjangere. De siste årene har hun jobbet fast for kunstner Tori Wrånes og medvirket i performance som har turnert ved biennaler, teatre og museum verden over.

Hun er nå aktuell med soloserien Solo for the beginning of something never ending.
