The residency program is open for all professional artists working within contemporary dance. We invite proposals for performance projects or research or artistic practice development.

Regular residencies include one week (Monday to Friday, from 12:00-17:00) of free workspace in PRAXIS Oslo’s 83sqm studio space at Hausmania, ending with an open sharing on the last day. The sharing can be, for example, a work-in-progress sharing, open rehearsal, demo performance, workshop or talk depending on the format of the project. Fees, accommodation or travel costs are not included in the residency.

All residency artists will receive a free PRAXIS clipcard which allows them to attend PRAXIS morning classes through the semester of their residency.

Some extended residencies will be offered in July, August, December and January each year. These will offer full days in the studio from 9:00-17:00. Details coming soon.
