Artistic interests
I wish to challenge the often underexplored or unspoken biases in how Asian bodies
are viewed in the West. Why? I still think there is a lot of work to be done when it
comes to decolonizing the way Asian bodies are perceived and considered. The
Asian female body for example is often seen as a small, non- threatening, quiet
object to be fetishized – not quite as discriminated, not quite as important. I am
